The Chacom legacy is longstanding, with the Comoy family making pipes as far back as 1825 in the French village of Avignon. The Comoy marque's founder, Henri Comoy, was taken as a prisoner of war in Switzerland in 1870, where he met his cousins, the Chapuis. Here, the idea for a Chapuis-Comoy collaboration was born, which then became fully realized in 1922. This would lead to the "Chacom" marque, a portmanteau of the two family names.

Compact and plump, this bent Apple from Chacom boasts reverse Calabash engineering intended to help provide a dryer smoke. Additionally, a well-executed sandblast unveils handsome striations of grain that are highlighted by a Brown stain that is pocket-friendly.
