This is a highly underrated and fabulously constructed cigar brand. A fantastic Robusto that should be in all humidors.
Hoyo de Monterrey have been modernising/reinventing themselves by expanding : Serie le Hoyo San Juan is the newest vitola to come from the brand for a long time. They have used only Seco and Ligero leaves from the San Juan y Martinez tobacco district. It's factory name is Geniales.
This brand was originally exclusive to the French market. The Quai D'Dorsay brand have introduced a new look and sizes to the brands original portfolio. Retaining all the quality from the original lineup with a new taste.
H Upmann Corona Minor is considered a perfect cigar for beginners, its short length means that its not necessary to sit for an hour to finish it. The flavours are plesant and not overpowering.
The Bolivar Royal Corona Tubo is unlike the rest of the family, in that it gives a generous flavour profile from the beginning without being too intense. It is a good cigar for the modern smoker.
Released in February 25th 2014 by Habano S.A. This new vitola from Trinidad is now available here in Canada as of December 2014.
The Belinda brand cigar like many smaller brands, did not survive the nationalization of the cigar industry. They were re-introduced by the government run Cubatobacco in 1988. There is only one surviving cigar size which is the Corona.
